Hello all our lovely London based pals.

First off, thank you all so much for travelling to be here with us today; we are genuinely delighted to see you! It’s a fecking privilege to have you here, we are very lucky people.

This book is by one of Barry and Rebecca’s favourite authors, and it had to be the book for the London table, as London itself is a major character.

When Rebecca first moved to London, Barry lent his copy of Neverwhere to her. Rebecca returned it to Barry in several pieces, pulled apart and destroyed by constant use as she read the book on the tube every day!

Reading this book while settling into London, Becca saw the book come to life around her. During their first few months of a long distance relationship, having this book to connect them made everything a little bit easier.
