Hello all you wonderful, talented, musical people!

I hope you are having a great time, and that you appreciate that we’ve made sure that Donogh is not at your table, drunkenly singing “Stayin’ Alive” in super slow motion.

Welcome to the American Gods table. It made sense to put you guys here as this book is a story of a road trip across America, and we (the lads, at least) have travelled through the UK and Ireland together in various guises over the years!

This is actually one of the few books that Rebecca and Barry agree 100% on; we both adore this book.

We know we’re preaching to the choir to an extent here, with massive Neil Gaiman fans at the table already (Hello Frank and Laura!), but it cannot be overstated just how much we love this book. We have had to replace it a few times over, as we lost pages out of our old copies through repeated readings (and that tv show - holy balls was it beautiful).

Thank you again for travelling to be here, for playing music with Barry over the years and today, for being our friends and making everything just a little bit more interesting as a result.
